RM – Come Back To Me
The agency introduced “Come Back to Me” as an indie-pop genre song that explores thoughts about right and wrong, the main theme of the album, “Right Place, Wrong Person.”
The music video was directed, produced and written by Lee Sung-jin, the Korean American director of “Beef” (2023). The Netflix original series won multiple awards from three major Hollywood guilds earlier this year.
Also among the crew are Ryu Seong-hie, an art director known for “The Handmaiden” (2016), “Decision to Leave” (2022) and Kim Woo-hyung, the cinematographer of “Assassination” (2015) and “1987: When the Day Comes” (2017). Actor Kim Min-ha joined the cast with RM.
Oh Hyuk of the band Hyukoh was credited as the producer of “Come Back to Me,” where Kuo of Sunset Rollercoaster, a five-piece Taiwanese band, joined on the guitar and bass sessions.
Singer-songwriter JNKYRD and San Yawn of the band Balming Tiger participated in writing the song, while RM penned its lyrics. [Source]
Seventeen – Lalali
LALALI makes boisterous use of the members, placing their colorful rap over even more colorful production. The beat is clattering and stuffed, fusing together disparate percussion to craft a groove that feels as if it’s been chopped into tiny pieces and sewn back together in an almost random fashion. The energy remains high and the track strikes a nice blend between structure and mayhem. [Source]
&TEAM – Samidare
Through the First Howling series, a boy becomes aware of the existence of you who is just like himself, and after having found each other, they stand together at the startline ready to take on upcoming adventures with fearlessness and solidarity. However, despite previously thinking everything between them was the same, they soon realize the differences that lie between them. &TEAM’s first single is about the conflicted emotions they feel, and despite so their unchanging determination to stay together and move towards the same direction. The story in this work overlaps with the real-life experiences of the nine members – &TEAM was formed through an audition, and since then they lived together, shared the same dream, and grew together while colliding but also understanding each other’s personalities and bonding.
For the first time, J-pop hitmaker YUUKI SANO participates in the production for this release as well as talented producers including Soma Genda (producer since the artist’s debut EP), Slow Rabbit (HYBE music producer), and Lindgren and Melanie Fontana (both worked on BTS’s “Boy With Luv”).
&TEAM’s first single captivates with a completely new image which depicts the not-always-beautiful youth that everyone experiences at least once in their lifetime. [Source]
